I was out the other day meeting up with a girlfriend to give her some of my yarn.  Anybody that knows me, knows that I have a large stash of yarn and now it's depleted by 2 1/3 large garbage bags.  To make a long story short, we had lunch together and just next door to the restaurant was a Value Village.  We just had to go check it out.  I found this lovely vintage Christmas Tablecloth and have added it to my shop.  Thanks S, for a wonderful lunch, taking some of the yarn off my hands and shopping where I found some vintage linen.  Hope to see you soon again.
Well yesterday was one of those days, errands to run and then in the afternoon a dentist appointment, 1 1/2 hours long.
While parked at the dentist office, someone scratched and dinged my car while backing out.
No note and no apology under the windshield wiper.
I know that my car has lots of scratches and dents but that side was the pretty side!!! Now it matches the rest of the car with a ding over the rear wheel and a scratch along the side.  Dear hubby checked the tire since it was hit too, and just glad it was not the new tires that were placed on the front last week.

Graduation

Our youngest son graduated last night from Grade 12 on the honor roll and receiving an award in Physical Education.  It's quite something to hear in the comments that our son conducts himself as a gentleman, (which we already knew) and a ninja.

It was a bittersweet moment since approx 4 years ago I was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and while chatting with the doctor about surgery and treatment plans, one of my desires was to see this son graduated from High School.  He is graduated and I am doing very well.

Congratulations J. we love you and hope and pray that you do well in all your future endeavors.
