We live in an older home with cold floors.  So I decided to make myself some slippers, and made sure my ankles stayed warmed too, since they are always cold along with my feet.  I wanted something warm and nice looking so made myself some slipper socks in worsted weight yarn.  I had them on when the hubby come home from work last night and he called them my Santa slippers.
We had a laugh over that.
Aren't they cute?
If you want a pair, please contact me,  I will gladly make them.

It's close to the end of the year

Here it is getting close to the end of 2014 and I have not blogged as much as I was hoping too.
Been keeping up with the etsy shop and crocheting and knitting like crazy.
I hope to add more pictures to the blog and show what I am working on a bit more regularly.
Hope you come join me.

The latest finished crochet projects are completed and in two different colours.  They are for sale in the etsy shop.  The pattern was purchased from Mary Maxim in Paris, ON.  If you are ever in the area, it is a lovely place to visit for an hour or two or three.

My challenge this year is to crochet 7 squares a week and minimise the amount of stuff in my home by donating, selling of throwing out the accumulation of items that are not used any more.
Wondering if anyone would like to join me?
This morning it was an over the door rack that is not used anymore.  A box has been started for the RCS Thrift Store and/or the Bible for Mission Thrift Store.
This house will be more empty if I do this 6 days of the week times 52 weeks...lots of items :o)
Lots of damaged trees in the yard.  Husband has lots to do over the next couple of months.
Too cold to work the chain saw today.
